Megan Koterba

Lacie is our office manager here at Katelyn Hand State Farm in the Carolina's and has over 10 years of State Farm Insurance experience! She has her Personal Lines, Life, and Health licenses and brings a ton of positivity and expertise to our team! She is your go to for state to state transfers and anyone relocating to North Carolina and South Carolina. Moving is stressful enough, so she wants to make the process of changing your license, registration, and insurance as seamless as can be.

Additionally with her industry experience, compassion, and helping heart, she is responsible for assisting customers file and navigate any home or condo damage and/or accidents. She is very well versed with Rental properties as well.

As a wife and Mom, she is super passionate about talking to everyone about life insurance and making sure your family and assets are protected. She is currently in the process of building upon her skill set to write flood insurance and wind and hail coverage for coastal homes.

Meg is a former teacher with a Masters in Education, hailing from Maine who moved to the Carolina's with her college sweetheart husband, 2 cats, 4 bunnies, and 2 guinea pigs and brings a sense of organization and detail to our team. She has her Property, Casualty, Life, & Health licenses and is a NC and SC notary.

Her specialty is helping small business owners and contractors with less than 25 employees make sure their assets are adequately protected with liability insurance, workers comp insurance, any business property or equipment is protected, and helps with succession planning. She also helps small businesses offer life and disability ins benefits to their employees. She also has experience doing probate, estate, and surety bonds.

Eli is a former soccer athlete & joins our team after working in his family business. He has his P&C license and is our go to for Auto, motorcycle, classic cars, and off-road vehicles. His favorite part of his role is making a difference.

Keri just celebrated her 1st wedding anniversary and purchased her 1st home with her husband. She has her Property, Casualty, Life, and Health licenses and is most passionate about helping other first-time home buyers with their homeowners or condo insurance needs, and helping individuals and families protect their newly acquired asset with an umbrella policy and escrow protection with life insurance.

Her favorite thing about her role is being able to educate and help others. Keri enjoys and can talk to anyone! A fun fact about Keri is she always making funny noises and making the team laugh throughout the day.

Cortney has been with us for 7 years & has her P&C license. Her focus is helping to make changes to existing Auto or Home policies. If you purchased, sold, or traded a new car, just got married and need to combine policies, have a teenage or newly licensed driver - she is who you want to talk too! She is also well versed in foreign driver licenses, splitting policies after a divorce, & handling insurance policies in the name of an estate during probate.

Teannah has 3 years in Account Management experience and joined our team after obtaining her Bachelor's Degree. She has her Property, Casualty, Life, & Health licenses. Having recently graduated from college and being the eldest of 13 siblings, her focus is helping newer drivers and individuals new to insurance and starting their careers. She wants to be there from the beginning to help with your first auto insurance policy on your own, renter's insurance, ensuring any high value or cherished items you own have protection too (such as jewelry, firearms, furs, collectible items) to helping you reach your financial goals of becoming a homeowner one day and everything in between.

Some fun facts about Teannah: she has family in Jamaica and is a pescatarian. She also LOVES reading and has to read 30 min each day. She is a self proclaimed perfectionist and everyone is in great and thoughtful hands with her!

Elise just returned to us part time after having her first daughter in October! She is loving new Mom life and is excited to be back working with customers a few hours a week. She has her Property, Casualty, Life, Health licenses and joined our team from the mortg. world, so she has a unique perspective for all our homeowner's. Her passion is discussing hospital inc policies (especially for kids) and paycheck protection for working parents.

Elise is also an avid reader with a goal to read a book per week!

Originally from Montana, after an honorable 24 years in the Air Force, Chris began his insurance career 7 years ago helping his Agent wife, Megan. He has his Property & Casualty license and is our Billing guru. He also helps when a car is deemed a total loss from an accident and does a lot of customer policy reviews and discount double checks!

He is a dedicated husband and father to 4 and enjoys fishing and spending time with family. We are fortunate for his time serving and all his support with the family business!

Mandy has over 18 years of Insurance experience having grown up working in her father's State Farm office in Florida and is happy to be able to be working with her sisters. She has her Property, Casualty, Life, and Health licenses. Mandy has taken the team lead on helping individuals around age 65 with health insurance supplements.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son, family, and is highly involved in dog rescues and pet sitting.

Kailey grew up in CA & is currently a Senior at UNCC studying Finance & is interning with us. She is in the process of getting her P&C license now. Currently, she is responsible for helping to onboard new State Farm customers get setup online. She also does a ton of reporting behind the scenes. We're excited to have her help with more of your insurance needs soon!
